Medical Support Lead (Registered Nurse/Pharmacist)

The Medical Support Lead will be a Nurse or Pharmacist who will build a team of health professionals to deliver outstanding medical advice to patients across all the Eucalyptus brands. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with our partner doctors, pharmacists and medical advisors to improve the patient journey, all while maintaining good clinical notes for continuity of care.

Job description

Our core belief is that the future of primary care is patients having a higher touch, higher quality relationship that allows them to make better health decisions and stay healthier longer.

We think the primary care experience can evolve from a shallow triage layer on the health care system into a personalised and engaging patient experience. Eucalyptus is building the technology and the brands to power this future.

Our platforms allow patients to connect with some of Australia's top GPs and specialist medical advisors to decide on suitable treatment plans for their conditions. Patients can then fill their prescription with one of our partner pharmacies, who play a key role in compounding and counselling.

The Medical Support Lead will be the third arm to our health care team and a critical part of Eucalyptus' next stage of growth. As the first member of this team, you have a career-defining opportunity to build a team of health professionals capable of redefining how digital healthcare is delivered.

Your objective is to increase opportunities for patient engagement to provide a safer and more personalised healthcare experience. The role has both reactive and proactive elements - you will be triaging and responding to medical questions, managing side effects, encouraging treatment adherence and acting as a health concierge to assist patients with chronic care (e.g. weight loss).

The Medical Support Lead is tasked with delivering outstanding medical advice to patients across all the Eucalyptus brands. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with our partner doctors, pharmacists and medical advisors to improve the patient journey, all while maintaining good clinical notes for continuity of care.

You’ll be expected to build systems that get better over time; to buy into our ambition to drive a future for healthcare that is more convenient, personalised and comprehensive; and craft a culture focused on delivering safe and useful patient health experiences.
